Bret Ballentine founded Ballentine Insurance Group (BIG) in 2018 with a mission to provide honest advice, exceptional service, and customized insurance solutions for families and businesses throughout Missouri and Kansas.
Specializing in both personal and commercial insurance, Bret helps clients protect their homes, vehicles, businesses, and financial future with coverage tailored to their unique needs. His philosophy is simple: build lasting relationships by educating clients and helping them make confident insurance decisions.
Outside the office, Bret enjoys spending time with his wife, Valerie, and their two daughters. He leads BIG with the same values that define the agency: integrity, hard work, and a commitment to always putting clients first.

Rodney Roberts brings over 40 years of insurance experience to Ballentine Insurance Group. After more than three decades with an independent agency in Illinois and later serving as a Farmers agent, Rodney joined BIG in 2025 to expand our commercial insurance expertise.
Rodney specializes in helping business owners identify risks and build comprehensive insurance programs tailored to their operations. From general liability and commercial property to workers' compensation, commercial auto, and umbrella coverage, he takes a consultative approach to protecting businesses for the long term.
